The Airflare (or air-flare) refers to an acrobatic maneuver in which the performer rotates the torso around the vertical axis of their body (extending from the head down vertically) while travelling in a circular path along a plane in parallel with the floor. The feet do not touch the ground during the execution of this move, both hands are used to execute standard Airflares. Airflare is also known as air-track.

Airflare tutorial was pretty limited few years back but with the proliferation of the internet, many tutorials can now be found by just a click on the mouse. We can easily learn to dance, magic, cook, repair computers, learning languages and anything that comes to mind.
Here are some Airflare tutorials that I find it helpful:
I have been trying to learn airflare ever since I seen this amazing move on Youtube. Year 2013 is about to end and I am no where close to doing 1 round of airflare. My 2014 resolution would to be able to do continuous airflares. I will update my journey here as often as possible.
Below is a written guide taken from a bboy forum:
I'm doing this guide all from the goodness of my heart. No hating on please. I will start this guide from people who is READY to start learning airflares and those who just wanna perfect those defects (you know what I mean). When I mean ready, I mean you should be comfortable with being on your hands and have at least a few good moves to back you up (flare or a 90 helps alot)Below is a written guide taken from a bboy forum:
I take no responsibility of people who hurt their elbows or shoulders, or worse, back doing these moves. If you think you are ready, then go ahead
This section is for beginners, so those who have got at least two down can skip this section. Intermediates can skip to the stars*******
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What Position to start it with
-------------------------------------
The most easiest way ( And I think the only way to start without stringing it from a combo) is from standing. You could start it from a swipe, but for stablility purposes, it's best to start from standing
1st Phase (Standing till both legs lifted from ground)
------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where 90's come in handy. Start your Airflare like a 90. Put great strength emphasise in your arms, Keep them straight. When your legs follow, you wanna keep them spread and swinging. Don't swing super fast, your technique should just be correct. You should now be with both arms on the ground, legs in sky. Place a little bit more of your weight on your "pushing" arm, or in this case, your right arm, as you don't wanna have to transfer your weight too late; this might slow you down and lose concentration on the more important aspects
2nd Phase (Spinning body and catching)
---------------------------------------------------
This is where you are gonna swing your right-leg up to get the height/momentum you require to spin and catch yourself on your left arm. Push off a little bit with your left arm, letting your body rotate a bit to the direction you are spinning. Almost all your weight should be on your right arm now, and your right leg should be directly under you. your left leg should be facing +/- 80 % vertical. This will keep your hips up and keep the height. The higher your hips, the higher the airflare. While you are getting ready for the rotation, gain all your momentum. When you rotate, let your right leg shoot up, also rotating your hips.Try to stay on your right arm as much as possible) Try to turn your hips as much as possible and KEEP THEM UP!!!! keep your stomach muscle tight or something, just keep 'em up. As you are pushing off, bring your left arm past your face. Now, when you are ready to land on your left arm, delay your legs by keepin your left leg facing up. this way, when you wanna go for you second round, you can get big momentum from your legs. Once your left arm has landed, quickly bring your right arm back to position. now transfer your weight back unto your right arm.
3rd Phase ( Continuing them) *******
-------------------------------------------------
The main problem of airflares is not so much doing one, but linking them.Once you have become comfortable with doing airflares and linking them to windmills, flares, you can start linking airflares to airflares. Your arm stablility and the way you swing your legs depends whether or not you gonna carry on with your airflares. When you land on your left arm, it has to be stable and sturdy. LOCK YOU SHOULDERS and don't let your body sack to the ground. Your legs, especially your right, must not only swing correctly, but you MUST shoot it upwards on the second turn. this keeps your body and hips up. Always remember to push, and if you lack momentum, you must push harder. The faster you go, the less you have to push.
Round Off
1. Keep those arms like pillars. They are the only things keepin you from falling face first into sweet mother nature.
2. Those legs, especially the right, must shoot to the stars. when you are doing them, you must alomost wanna kick yourself to the moon.
3. Hips must be kept up and and rotate them as much as possible
4. Stay on your right arm as long as possilbe before releasing.
That's it, good luck
